A branch of natural white coral, capped in hand soldered pewter with a cluster of dark beads, is the heart of this necklace. Above it, the strand moves from soft cream fossil beads and faceted hematite to warm gold plated rondelles and a gold plated paperclip chain. Light and dark, soft and bright, it feels like a piece found in a treasure box and made new.
